Transferring funds in Pakistani Rupees (PKR) from your Rho account is easy when you have the right information. This guide explains who you can send PKR to, transfer limits, and important restrictions to be aware of.
Who Can I Send PKR To?
You can send PKR to any personal bank account in Pakistan that is denominated in PKR, except for certain express accounts. Please avoid sending to:
- Meezan Bank Express Accounts
- Allied Bank Express Accounts
These accounts do not allow Interbank Funds Transfer credits or inward local transfers. Transfers to these accounts will either be instantly rejected or held up with the recipient bank until funds are reclaimed.
Important: You cannot send PKR to business accounts in Pakistan. Only personal accounts are eligible to receive PKR transfers.
How Much Can I Send?
- Maximum Transfer Limit: Up to 35,000,000 PKR per transfer
Are There Any Restrictions on Sending PKR?
- Recipient Must Be a Private Individual: Transfers can only be made to personal accounts.
- Asaan Accounts Limitation: Transfers will be rejected if the recipient's Asaan account has a limit of 500,000 PKR.
- Sending from Business Accounts:
- International payments to Pakistan from business accounts are allowed. However, the recipient must have a personal account; you cannot send to business accounts.
Reminder: Always verify that the recipient's account is eligible to receive PKR transfers to prevent delays or rejections.
