*Settlement Time for Outgoing International Wires
Settlement time for Outgoing International Wires can vary based on several factors. Understanding these can give you a better estimate of when your payment should arrive. Here’s a detailed breakdown of what may influence the settlement time for outgoing international wires:
- Payment Method: Some payment methods are faster than others.
- Currency Type: The currency you're sending to can affect how long the transfer might take.
- Banking Hours and Holidays: Transactions are processed on business days. If a payment is sent over a weekend or public holiday, it will be processed the next working day.
- Security Checks: All transactions are subject to standard compliance checks, which may add extra time to your transfer.
Estimated Transfer Times:
For payments not sent via the Swift network, the settlement time can range between 1 and 3 business days. However, please take into account that converting your money can take up to 2 working days.
SWIFT payments can take longer than regular payments because they go through correspondent banks. We suggest waiting 4 to 5 business days for these payments to settle.
Note: We can’t speed up SWIFT payments, but if your payment is taking longer than expected, please let us know.
